Nice project! This is what I looking for.
But…there are some problems that cannot be overlooked for Japanese twitter fans in twitbin.
First is the “Enter” problem concerning the input method editor for Japanese.
We press the Enter key to choose the Japanese word from the candicate. Though it is still working, it is posted at this moment!
(you may have to add key event handler in your code. see:

The other point, I think it would be better to open new tab rather than in new window on click a link in the message.

I don’t have any experience with asian character input, so thank you for that tip.
We are working on the new tab thing… we’ll have a new extension out monday to fix that.

Found a small bug on the Windows version; after the banner at the bottom of the TwitBin sidebar there is some junk HTML, seems that a anchor “

Works fine on Linux too, though there is some ad-like HTML at the bottom. Probably the same thing Daniel mentioned.

TwitBin und Mobile Twitter…

ur extension was just cool.
Actually i’m an engineering student and plans to create an extension as my project back at my college. i was searching for the tutorials on the net all these days and found some. It was helpful, but since i dont have any experience in extension development i’m struggling. but i have a clear idea what the extension should do.
i need someone to guide me, just 2 guide me through the procedures.
I hope someone back there will have the heart to help me. i wont cause you much disturbance, that is for sure. You just need to guide me, i will do the full work. You know, this project means so much to me. i’m very passionate abt firefox.
So hoping for a helping hand. thank you.
