QuickTips - What the icons mean

So I wanted to explain the icons, since they aren’t super intuitive. The gear icon lets you set your preferences: personal stream,  or the public one. the default should be the personal.   It also lets you set your refresh time. Default is 1 minute, but you can set it to 1, 5, or 10.

Next up is the Home button, that is where you login. We’re trying to think of something more intuitive, but alas, that was the first thing that came to mind.

The refresh button forces your twitter stream to manually update.

Just some ideas if you’re interested.

My first thought was that there would be a description in the main window’s status message. At the moment it shows some javascript, but it could be changed to show the title of the button.

Alternatively, a title attribute could show a tooltip. The possibilities are endless.

I’ve got it running on Linux, and aside the fact that the markup of the ad is showing as plaintext, it’s running fine. I had to enable javascript for twitbin.com with the noscript extension though.

    Thanks for a great extension.
